Talking to the local newspaper, the Manchester Evening News, Sister BangBang describes what it’s like to be a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence and why the Manchester Sisters do what they do.

Our appearance always elicits discussion and questions, and that is exactly why we do dress like we do. After all, we don’t look like this NOT to be noticed! And that in itself does a job as it attracts people to talk with us, and therefore helps us do our job. And our job is spreading love, educating others and always wanting to provide a helping hand in times of need. We all need a hug, and that shoulder to cry on, at times and we do try our best in this.
